All started with love and respect for nature and animals. Especially dogs and wolves.
From where came “WolfSirius”? Wolves have fascinated me since childhood. Already 14 years old, i knew my breeding name. I was sure, that i would like to breed wolfdogs, as i was crazy about wolves, i wanted to honor the name of the wolf in my breeding. Although i had to wait 18 years age, so i could ask for a name from FCI.
Sirius.. Sirius not only a dogstar, (Alfa Canis Majoris, brightest star in the night sky) but also my first Irish Wolfhound; Sheehoguen DingoSirius, a very special dog for me.

WOLFDOGS, Ceskoslovensky Vlcak and Saarloos Wolfhond (also Lupo Italiano) have been my high interest and dream for a long time. In 1995 when i asked my breedingname from FCI, i already planned to have these dogs some day.

My dream come true. In 1999 i imported first CsV in Finland,
In January 2002 first CsV litter born in Finland,
registered under breedingname "WolfSirius"
In 2002 we import  first Saarloos Wolfhond female from Holland, and in year 2005 first SWH litter born under breedingname WolfSirius.

I am Suski, breeder behind the name  "WolfSirius"

I am 35 years, mother of 3 lovely kids.
I live with my husband Pasi, and our sons Anton, Daniel, Tomas
and our pack in south Finland, 20 kilometers from Kotka, maritime city.
I have spent my whole life with animals. Pet shop i worked for over 10 years, i have also worked with horses. I am trained assistance person for kids, and we have ability to work as a foster parents with my husband Pasi. I have also worked in child welfare. Kids and animals have always been close to my heart.
My first dog was Shetland Sheepdog; Karion Play Off "Lellu" (1979 - 1988) With Pasi we acquired our first German Shepherd; Tsajun Amado "Moona" (1993-2007) Also the next dog was German Shepherd; Fidelity Zare "Miki" (1993-2004) At the same year as we purchased our first GSD i began slowly to study wolves. I was then 16 years of age. Jim Brandenburg published "Brother Wolf" which was one of my first books about wolves, now i have more than 40 books about wolves. Currently most of my free time i spend studying wolves.

Always when it's possible i participate national and international wolf seminars and symposia in different countries.

 

We have a small farm edge of the forest, "the middle of nowhere" Land is 3 hectares, of which 2 hectares are devoted to animals. Our life is very rewarding and peaceful with kids and animals. The environment is perfect for wolfdogs, quiet, a lot of nature around. We hope that you understand that this is our home. Introducing breeds, and our pack willingly, visitors are welcome , as agreed.

Nevertheless, greatest love, honor and thanks to my dear husband, PASI. Without you i could only dream all of this.Thank you for these 20 amazing years together!  I love you.
